I've been looking for a good internet radio app off and on. Tried MFRadio, the Dollar5 player, and a couple others. None of them could really deliver smooth, skip-free playback.
Now I think I've found one that does - Berry Tunes (current version is 2.5.2) appears to be the real deal.
There's an internet radio thread in the General forum that has some discussion that includes Berry Tunes. That's where I first read about it and tried it.

Hands down the best internet radio player I've used, in terms of smooth, skip-free playback. I've a few, including Dollar5, MFRadio, and others, and none of them came close to Berry Tunes in terms of smooth playback.
Berry Tunes has a rudimentary (and sometimes annoying) UI, but is simple to use. Where it matters most, actually playing back stations w/out skipping and losing contact, it seems to be the real deal. It also plays Podcasts, tried a few, seemed to work well, as well as various audio and video formats.
Cost is $25...a relatively large chunk of change, unfortunately. There's a 7 day trial available. OTA link here...it's available for sale from Handango and other BB SW sites.
