Cannot download NY Times mobile on Bold 9700. Had it on my 9000. Any suggestions??

Is it an app, or are you using the browser to view the mobile web page?

I saw your other post on something you could do on 9000 but not 9700, but that brain cell died and I can't remember what it was. Have you tried a hard reset?

Yes is it was google maps and I went further into the forum and foung google.com/mmn and the download was accomplished. GPS worked as well.

What about the New York Times problem?

Not sure. On the 9000, had the NYTimes icon and the mobile version. Cannot seem to get either on the 9700. Just the standard online version of the NYT.

I don't know of any reasons you would have trouble with the mobile site. Other than the usual, of course. Try clearing browser cookies and cache, do a battery pull, and try again.

Regarding any app's, are you using app world? I had an app I used on the 8820 that does not have a version for the 9700, but app world told me. You should check with the NYT web site and see if the mobile app is compatible with the new device.

I entered www.nytimes.com and had no trouble. It redirects to http://mobile.nytimes.com/.
