Default Handsfree in the car?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7280 that I've currently using a Jabra Freespeak for non-BlueTooth devices when I'm in the car. I really miss the handsfree options I had with the old Motorola cell phone. Just not seeing handsfree car kits for the Blackberry. Anyone find a better solution than what I'm currently using? Something preferrably with a speakerphone.
Thanks.

Check this out.
I've never tried it but I've heard it works great and easy to install

Thanks. I had seen that when it was first introduced before they added the pdf manual to their site. I was a bit scared away when I sent them an email asking them several questions about it and never got a reply. Their manual still isn't very complete. FOr one it shows a 12 volt connector but doesn't say whether or not that charges the unit when it's connected. I suspect it may be just to power the speaker box that you clip on the visor. I've spent that much money in the past for good commercially installed hands free car kits but think 299 is too high for one that clips to your visor, plugs into your cigarette litghter and requires you to mount the Blackberry on your air conditioning vent. I don't think so. But thanks. I think enough people are going to need a better solution and someone someday will come up with the answer.

FOr handsfree I just apply a velcro strip to the back of my unit (on the battery door, 7280) and to the dashboard of my car..

The blackberry is mounted veritcally so when i get a call I can see who's calling.. and also you can glance at the e-mail sender and subject.

For handsfree i attach the earbud to the blackberry and leave it connected, so when i get a call i can use one hand, grab the earbud, put in my ear, press the answer button on the earbud and you are completely hands free.

It's cheap and effective!
