sending your email with bold text

Is anyone here an old timeport 2way pager user? Well, I was. Remember when you wanted to make you text bold you would type in a code befor and after the lettier so when someone gets the email it will com out as a bold print? is there a way to do that with the 8100?
it used to look tlike this:

and it would look like

if anyone knows that wouyld be a dope thing to spread out.
