Default JMEC64: New Commodore 64 Emulator for cellphones (Tying to run on BlackBerry)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I copied the brand new Version 1.3 of the JMEC64 emulator for J2ME cellphones to a BlackBerry-compatible OTA download: BlackBerry Browser Download Link
Code:
http://www.marky.com/files/bb/JMEC64-1.3.jad
It manages to successfully install on my BlackBerry, but I get an error message when I try to run on my BlackBerry. Can any of you OS 4.2 users, give the link a try?

If you are a programmer with enough spare time to toy with the source code, you may be interested to know that the source code to JMEC64 is available at the first link -- it could be rather easily ported to BlackBerry.

(Please do not email or PM me directly; reply to this post instead. My Inboxes are overflowing. Thanks!)
(NOTE: To uninstall after wireless downloading go to Options->Advanced->Applications)

Question

OK, I'm at a loss here, but very curious. From deep in the historical recesses of my memory, I vaguely remember the Commodore 64; but why in the world would you want to emulate it on your BlackBerry (or any other phone, for that matter)??
