Blue Ant X3 and Pearl issue !!!!

I recently purchased a " BlueAnt X3 " bluetooth headset for my pearl running the latest cingular OS and have encountered bad echoes when at high volumes and static noises.
I've called BlueAnt Tech support and they said it is definitelly a Pearl issue and NOT the headset itself.
I then tried the X3 on my girlfriend's SonyEricsson W850i and sounds just PERFECT.
P.S. If theres a work around for this it'll be appreciated and if not then RIM can you release the newest OS with this Bluetooth bug for the " BlueAnt X3 ", thanks a million!!!!!!!
P.S.2: I love the headset and dont want to give it up. Anyone else having this issue with their BlueAnt X3?
