I cannot synch properly

have desktop 4.2 sp2 loaded
firmware 4.2.1.96

the synch starts the process but after reading from handheld address book , desktop manager crashes

any ideas? already reloaded desktop manager several times

should i reload firmware??

actually as I am checking I think i may have found the problem

i have 4.2.1.107 firmware installed on my computer but only 4.2.1.96

would this be causing my problems??
