Default Phone Book Automatic Number Display

Please Login to Remove!

On my 8320, When I type a letter to pull up the names stored, it automatically shows the number as I scroll across the names. Is there a setting to turn this annoying feature off?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about the possibility of turning the feature on/off, but as a work around, you could delete all of the numbers from the contacts in the address book.

I've also tried to get this feature to turn off, but I haven't been able to find a way. I think it's just one of those things you're going to have to live with or change your address book.

There is no way to turn that feature off, that I am aware of.

That was hilarious, I'm still laughing!

This feature rocks! I have at least two, and typically three or four numbers for each contact. I cannot think of an easier way accomplish selecting a number.

You know, you can always type more detail, and use initials to pull them up quicker. Example: if you have Gabe Zane and Gabriella Murach typing gab is not going to get you to Gabriella with out scrolling past Gabe. However is you type G M it will take you straight to Gabriella Murach. Does that make sense?
