Default udevd problem

Please Login to Remove!

Im using Ubuntu 8.04 64bit, whenever I plug my BB 8703e into my laptop, udevd suddenly starts using 99% of my systems resources. I have to either restart udevd or reboot to get a usable system.

I have downloaded, compiled and installed barry from cvs hoping that I could run barry and then plug the device in but udevd does the same thing so I cannot use barry at this point.

Any pointers?

thanks, peter.

If you cannot find anything on the web with this issue, then I would file a bug asap.
