Might be a stupid question, but I cant seem to see anything in the pictures I've seen that there is a hole for a lanyard.

Seriously - there is no hole on the 8900!? Yeh, the pearl's do have them.

yes there is one on mine. its on the top righ hand corner and it requires you to slip through the hole or battery cover and the other end should be attached to a lanyard catch on the device. Have a closer look. Mine is a T-Mobile set and i assume its standard hole for all

Well... Learn something new every day, I guess. I assumed that was some sort of vent for the speaker. No lanyard in the box, so I didn't make the connection that could be a lanyard hole.
