BES 4.1.3 Lotus Notes 6.03

I activated some subfolders on the device to redirect.
In Notes i have a rule to redirect mail with a specific topic to a subfolder that is activated to redirect.
What happens is : The mail is moved to the subfolder in Notes but appears in inbox on the device.
After opening the mail on device its moved correctly to the folder.
Any ideas why i need to open it to be moved to the folder ?

I think all new messages go to the messaging Inbox on your BB irrespective or where they will finally end up by default and then once read are filed as appropriate.

Could well be wrong, i await the more experienced Admins thoughts and observations.

david you are correct all new mail will arrive in the inbox as standard regardless of the folder it is directed at.

Hmm ok , woukd be a little unconfortable when a new mail arrives and i have to search in which folder it is ...

It's only the Inbox on the BB until it is read and then it gets filed. As for the client it is filed correctly from the start.

Hi David,
You should set the Hide Filed to yes, under Mail Option > General Options > Hide Filed Messages "YES".
