Every time I go to either BBMaps or go through the Options, My phone wont acquire any sats. It was working yesterday but then it stopped. I dont think Ive done anything to my phone from when it worked til now. Any one know what the problem could be?

Mine is the same way sometimes.

I don't know how to fix it, it just starts working after awhile.

Maybe its the OS or something. I have 4.6.1.133.

I recently took a trip and my GPS worked most of the time.

I did find some areas of the city that it would just refuse to get a sattelite.

mine did the same..last night, but is working now, happened right after i did .133 to .152 os update... no issues now, took 30 minutes after the upgrade.

Basically, you need to be outside and have a clear view of the sky to lock onto the satellites. If it has been a while since you last used GPS,or you have moved from the last known position by a couple hundred miles, it could take awhile, 15 to 20 minutes or longer.

I have found that my 8800 locks on faster using GoogleMaps since that app uses cell tower triangulation to locate you within 2500 meters or less and this seems to help the device find you faster.

Might want to check out the GPS section as well.

I had the same problem yesterday but today it has resolved. Maybe something was up with the Satellites. It is working great and much faster today.
