There may be some bugs worth waiting for, but I guarantee you that RIM will not be fixing most of the concerns of the OP (or anyone else who has listed complaints). The time and money investment in starting over (essentially what it would take) to fix their OS is far more than the money still flowing in from the high-demand sales. Perhaps we'll see a new interface in five years, but that most certainly won't be compatible with the Storm.

Apple hit it perfectly the first time around, and disappointingly, no other company has the creativity and willingness to one-up Apple. It's certainly frustrating for a Verizon customer like myself, but unfortunately there's not much I can do about it.
