Default 8900 and iPhoto 09's Places

w00t! Another reason why I like the 8900 is its built-in GPS--and I can now start to geo-tag my photos so it'll work nicely with the "places" feature on iLife 09's iPhoto 09 (that didn't sound so good). I can just take one photo off the 8900, use the coordinates to batch-process the other photos taken from the Nikon (or Canon) and voilą!, Places!

Did you encounter any problems with going through that process? I have the curve 8900 as well as iLife 09 but haven't had the time to fiddle with the program.

Wirelessly posted (8900)

Only problem is that the camera app is SLOW at getting the gps signal. Do you find the same? You can't just take a quick pic and have it geo tagged.

I never encountered any issue with the app. There's an option for you to add the coordinates on photos that don't already have those.

I have no issues so far--I only geotag photos taken from outdoors then use the coordinates for photos taken within the vicinity... it's fun!
