Ok this is how is like:

I got a BlackBerry Bold and I just downloaded Yahoo!Go and Google maps but when I try to install for example google maps I get a message saying "Network unavailable:This application requires a data conection...." and in the Yahoo!Go case "Sorry - no internet connection found"

What's that all about cause my Wi-Fi is on and working just fine.

Google maps is not using WIFI.
It can not work with wifi and i suppose that this is the same for Yahoo Go.

In my case, that's work only if my BIS is active.

I don't see a point to have google maps if you don't have BIS anyways, unless you have wifi city-wide.
