It has never been dropped in water or anything. How can I get ahold of Blackberry, I reside in the USA, and bought it from a dealer in Canada and got it unlocked. Please help me out

My question is I bought it from a Rogers store in Canada with cash, can I get warranty on it. For the life of me I can't find my reciept. Anybody have a solutions?

You've voided the warranty by unlocking the phone...

How does that void my warranty by unlocking my phone. I had a few TMO phones that I unlocked and got warranty for them? Anybody have ideas. Should I contact Rogers or RIM.

Rogers will not honour an unlocked device's warranty. Unless you're willing to pay the fee to have it re-locked to the Rogers network... I believe that fee is near the $200 mark.

Do you have proof of this?? That makes absolutely NO sense, since you can obtain an unlock code from Rogers.

Unlocking a device DOES NOT void the warranty!!

If I'm not mistaken, if Rogers even does provide them, they charge a lot for them. I remember reading that somewhere. So I imagine, with them being the money grubbers that they are, they would state in the warranty that unlocking it voids it. Maybe it's only when it's unlocked from a 3rd party? Not sure.

RIM is the provider of the warranty, not Rogers. The carriers handle the warranty claims, but they are ultimately processed through RIM.

call Rogers and They'll honour the warranty. The problem is you're a non-resident, customer service will need to ship the phone to a canadian resident, just tell them that you bought it for when you visit Canada or something.

If my memory serves me correctly, we at Rogers don't honour the warranty if its unlocked unless its unlocked by us. I've had many people get caught on this for devices over the 3 years I've worked in a Rogers store.

I hope my memory's wrong and you can get it replaced under warranty, but I wouldn't hold my breath. No one gets their device unlocked by the company as they charge a heavy fee for it.
