Default OS Upgrades

Please Login to Remove!

I'm currently on an older Verizon 8830, and considering the soon to be released Verizon Tour. However, due to my concern of a brand new model and the inevitable tweaks to the OS over the first few months, I was wondering whether this model will permit over the air upgrades to the OS. Is that capability available?

Thanks in advance!

In all likelihood, OTA software updates will be possible.
The Storm has it, so it stands to reason the Tour will as well.

I believe it's a standard feature of OS 4.7

OTA upgrades are nice, but that will make it hard to install Beta OS's I wonder if VZW can monitor what OS's we have on our devices now lol.

I don't think they can via wireless .. I do however always flash back to stock ROM whenever I need help in the store. Wouldn't want them to type some note in the system that I was running Beta OS. Although, there was a time when one of the Verizon Sales Reps did show me a Beta build he downloaded from the web on his personal phone.
