Why won't my 8330 allow me to check the boxes for the Contact Application or Calendar Application in the Options section of the Facebook mobile application?

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan on your account? Both my 8330 and 9630 allow this. But you need a legit BlackBerry data plan to link up with Facebook.

I am having the same problem. I do have a data plan and I'm on a BES.

Its being on a BES that creates this problem.
It has been dicussed elsewhere on the forum, though I cant remember where.

Your BES admin has blocked the ability to use those features of the Facebook app.
You would need to discuss this with them.
