Default MIssing feature on 9700 (5.0)

Please Login to Remove!

Why did they remove the "F" key feature on 5.0? That was a very frequent usage key for me. It seems that on every major release, they remove another useful feature.

I'm toying with the idea of NOT upgrading to the 9700, because of that.

That would be a huge mistake were it your only gripe imo. It's an amazing device and you can still toggle b/t Vibrate and 1 other profile by hitting 'Q'.

the 'f' shortcut key is now used in messages to flag a message.

i think they still could have used the key on the home screen for profiles and in message screen for flagging, but meh, what do i know..

Yeah, that plus the removal of the R-shortcut has me face-palming. What did they gain by removing 'em and not reassigning them to anything else? So stupid.

Anyway, I'm still bitter about the removal of the click wheel...

Huh? Still forwards it for me (5.0.0.314). Please tell me they didn't remap the forward shortcut to something else...
