I tried to upgrade today and it said there was a problem with the installation, and now my old version of BBM is gone. It still says in my applications it is still there, but I cant find it. And every time I try to install it again, it freezes or just does not download.

Any suggestions?

The recent BBM upgrade has caused many users headaches to say the least including myself. 5.0 has a feature that allows you to create a backup of your contacts onto your memory card or device memory. Hopefully you have already done that. With that said, the only way I was able to reload BBM software (after disappearing) was to delete the application (I did this from the App World list) and reload a fresh copy. The only problem is if you do not have a contact backup you will have to manually reinstall them. There may be a more technical solution, but I'm not the technician.

Yes. With that device, I would uninstall and take a look at BBM 4.7
