Should I up grade to a new phone? i got the itch! There is nothing wrong with my 8300 except for scratches. I am due for the verizon 100.00 up grade and the rebate. Is it worth to up grade? Is there a better black berry on the market like the one I have? i been waiting for the bold2 but whats taking them so long to release? how about the droid?I don't like those touch screens though . Thanks.

Bold 2 is the 9700, which is a GSM device.
The Bold 3 (should be known as Tour 2) 9650 has been released on Sprint in the last few days; so *should* be on its way to Verizon soon.

Wirelessly posted (L'neuf trois)

I say go for an upgrade. Time to enjoy more "modern" technology haha.

Another BlackBerry or switch over to Android is up to you and your personal preferences. Good choices either way I think.

I'm sticking with the BB. I have the 8300 as well, and as soon as I'm finally due for an upgrade in July, I'm getting the 9700.

Not quite. The Android OS is a pretty solid OS. If you're going to go Android, I would say go with the Droid Incredible. The Sense UI is very nice. The Motorola Droid doesn't do it for me. Mostly due to it being Motorola. HTC makes solid devices.

However, the 9650 is a solid BlackBerry and is definitely worth the upgrade. Increased memory, trackpad, WiFi, better camera, OS 5 and possibly OS 6 when it's released.
