Default Any rumours for BB LTE development?

Please Login to Remove!

I see all kinds of other rumours for just about anything BUT Rim BB working on LTE or some form of 4G. It would be great on Tmobile especially if Tmobile would keep UMA and free tethering as they do now. I assume that Rim is working on this but no rumours or leaks anywhere? Any one care to guess or know?

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

They likely won't work with LTE until there is actually an LTE network...

VZW is moving very quickly with LTE testing and deployment. My contact there said they are on schedule to have something like 30 metro markets lit up with LTE by the end of the year.

I've been watching the development and seen some demos through my contact. The first company to widely cover with LTE will probably cause the demise of some other company as people run for the bandwidth.

As for RIM, I have to believe they are really looking hard at what to do, along with all the other manufacturers. Think about how much memory a device will need and how well it will need to manage that memory to allow for the kind of services LTE can push out. The bandwidth will no longer be the slowdown, it will be the device.
