What are the chances the 9800 can use the same desktop charging stand as the 9700?

Can anyone confirm if this is possible?

It will not stop me from getting a 9800, just means I have to shell out $$ for two charging stands.

The 9800 does not have charing contacts like the 9700 and previous devices.
It will be a horizontal, usb connector stand like that of the Storm 1.
