Hi all.

Ok recently on my BB some SMSs have been coming through in separate parts, even very small messages.

Quite often it will be the second part of the SMS (but not always) and it starts with [receiving Text].

Sometimes if i leave it the rest of the SMS will appear, at other times it never comes through.

Any ideas at all.....thanks for reading.

I have had this "receiving text" message before but I always get the rest of the message within a few seconds on within a minute at worst. From my experience, it is when my signal strength is poor. It rarely occurs when I have a strong signal but even a network that is particularly busy may have trouble getting all the data through.

All that being said, it is very rare that I have the problem. Maybe 1 of every 100 or so messages does the "receiving text" deal...

Are you running on 3G or 2G? Have you tried changing between the two to see how it affects the problem? Also, do you have tons of SMS messages stored on the device?
