I have been going through the forums for quit sometime and I have noticed there are a number of people with speaker or audio problems. I have a bb9000. Recording videos is a problem on mine. On playback picture is perfect but there is no sound. Voice recorded notes have no sound. Computer music/ video files play perfectly. Now I can't take photos or record anything. The battery gets low fast. I bought another one and both do not last 5hrs. Is a bb9000 a trusted phone? The audio problems, do they have a solution? how long does a battery normally last? any help

Generally the blackberries do not run down a battery in 5 hours unless there is an application constantly polling for data. The other reason can be the location of the phone. The constant searching for a signal can cause a large drain. You did not mention any Apps but I would check any you have and see if this is the case. Look at the signal indicators and if they are constantly working you may have found the problem.

You may have some type of interaction with one of your Apps causing the sound to be a problem. Have you added third party apps?. You might try deleting them to see if it helps. Pull the battery after removing the applications to reload the OS clean.
