I have a hotmail account and outlook web account set up in my blackberry v5, it was working fine a few days ago, but now mail is not coming in unless I go in to the mail settings. As soon as I go to mail settings, it syncs up and I see all the new mail! But thats it, it will not auto-sync at all. Any ideas?

I use the desktop sync software, that works fine.

I saw references that there should be entries in the Service Book for Desktop [SYNC] and mail account [SYNC], but I do not have those! Maybe that is the problem? I only have entries for [CICAL] and [CMIME].

Any help is appreciated!

Welcome to the Forums.

Try resending the service books. Also pull the battery while powered. This will reset the OS.

Log into the BIS account to resend the SB
