I recently returned a Bold 9780 because my bbm messages were randomly coming in as already received and read. Nothing would sound and no new message icon was set (and I have both set actively) it doesn't happen all the time, it's completely random. I find messages from people several minutes later. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Are you on a BES corporate server? RIM reports this as an issue with the BES configuration although not exclusive to BBM more common on email.
