I downloaded the link on the Sticky thread and installed it on my computer as directed. When I plug in my BB and run the loader it only shows the third party apps and doesnt give me the option to change the OS. What am I doing wrong?

Did you follow the directions?
Did you locate and delete VENDOR.XML before attempting to install the OS onto the BlackBerry?

Which device do you actually have? Your profile is an 8130 and you posted in the 9600 forum.

If you have a 9630 there is no OS 6. If you have a 9650 what OS is on the phone and which version did you download?

I do have the 9630. For some reason I thought the two versions were close enough to work. My bad
