i have a blackberry bold 9700 which is unlocked but wont send texts, emails or phone calls but i can still get texts e.g. i have no idea what to to and i REALLY need the help or i will have to sell it.!! HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!!

it has 5 bars

and when i go into manage connections it has a tick next to my mobile network...

Is is new? Where did you get it? It may be defective. why would you jump to selling it so quick?

What signal are you Getting? OFF, SOS, GSM, gprs, EDGE, GPRS, 3G?

have you contacted your Service Provider?

Sounds to me like Telecom NZ doesn't have the device properly configured on your account. Try going to the BIS page for your carrier, logging in, and re-entering your PIN and IMEI. Or give them a call and make sure they have your account properly configured.
