I am now using a PowerMac; I have been a Windows user. I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac; I opened up the application and connected my 9700 to the PowerMac...nothing happens! How do I synch my BB to my new computer?
I will try thaat. My phone comes up on the desktop but just shows the clock on the phone. The desktop manager opens but nothing happens. I tried synching on my old PC...no issue. So strange
no luck! SO FRUSTRATING! The phone is charging...an icon is on the desktop but no icons on the phone showing a computer and phone like when I synch on a PC. I need some ideas....
Okay...I found a solution on the Blackberry site...not great but better than nothing. It appears you have to start a 64 bit in 32 bit mode. You hold down the 3 and 2...I tried and it worked. I wonder if I use Microsoft Office for Mac would I have this problem???
DM has problems syncing with the 64 bit version of Office 2010. The latest Windows version of DM supposedly fixed it. Don't know if Mac DM 2 works with Mac Office 2011 or not. I am still using 2008 on my Macs because I like it and it works for me.
Well if they don't get some of their problems resolved I will likely be moving to an iPhone when my contract is up and the iPhone 5 arrives (whenever).
