Of course if you don't use a headset, you would have to tell the person to hang on while you check the calendar, so it would be best with a bluetooth or wired earpiece.

That is not true.

It IS possible to check appts, address book, etc; while on the phone.

That's not correct. You can continue talking on the phone while multitasking on the BlackBerry -- you just have to select the appropriate menu option before you can do so.

Reading this intelligent thread just makes me want to throttle those XDA owners (o2 UK) who insist they have the BB service on their unit but really they only have POP3........rant over.
