I Purchased my Blackberry Bold 9930 about three days ago, and I've recently noticed that during a call the keyboard will periodically dim and undim in a pulsating fashion. Is this a hardware issue or is that what it's supposed to do? Some insight would be great.

There is an ambient light sensor that dims/brightens the screen and keyboard when you move into more or less light. Also, the keyboard will dim slowly after a couple seconds of not being used, all on it's own. It's a power-saving feature.
