I want to try and link my BBM contacts with my address book.

I select the contact I was to link then hit the BlackBerry menu, but the "Link to BlackBerry Contact" option is not listed.

I try it the other way round and go into contacts and edit to manually select the BBM contact and it seems OK, but when I go to BBM and select the contact it states "(CONTACT NAME) is currently not associated with the contact application". You can then go and select the contact, but the link seems to be temporary. When I restart the phone, the link has gone.

I also seem to be unable to link Facebook contacts as well. The option is there, but nothing happens when you try and link a contact. The only app that seems to be working is Twitter.

The BlackBerry is part of a BES server, but the option "Disable organizer data access for social networking applications" is turned off.

Any idea?
