When I got my phone, I got an unlock code on the internet. Worked fine. Then, I sent my phone in for a keyboard repair. Now, the phone remains locked, even when I enter the code.
I called Bell, thinking they changed something, and even paid them $50 for a code. They sent me the same code for the $50.
When I entered it with the new carrier sim, it just ignores it but counts down one of my 10 attempts. When I enter it with the Bell sim, it says that the code is accepted, but the phone remains locked. I'm now down to my last attempt.
Bell told me to contact BB. BB tells me to contact Bell and set up a conference call. Googling, I can't find anybody else with this problem, although a BB expert here in Ottawa said there was someone else who had the same thing happen.
Any ideas, before I start spending more time on hold?
Does your device still have the same PIN? It's awfully strange that a phone comes back locked. Either that, or it was never unlocked in the first place.

It was definitely unlocked in the first place ... I used it in the US with a Roam Mobility SIM last August. When I tried again in February, it was locked.
Update: I just discovered my BB won't record a password it asked me to choose for call blocking. I wonder if there's a problem writing data to memory ...
