I have couple of questions.



1) I just got a BB z10 & did an update, it is locked & has no sim card. It shows it has software version 10.2.1.2977 OS Version 10.2.1.3247

When I swipe down I noticed that I don't have bedside mode or location in the list, also the alarm only allows for 1 alarm not multiple. Do I need to be connected to a mobile carrier to get proper updates my other z10 has?

2) The phone is locked, is there a way to discover what carrier it is locked too? The person I got phone from doesn't know.

Ignore this one people, I figured it out, I had to go to quick settings to add the missing options & I found out it is locked to Telus.

so you want it for an alarm clock? If the person who sold/gave it to you was clueless you should check to see if it is stolen. If so it wont be able to be activated.
