Default mac users, a question

how do you get programs or apps onto your BB? Since no software supports loading from the computer, do you just navigate to the site, hit download and hope it is OTA or what. Sorry for all the posts, but I really need to figure out if this is even possible to do. I have read the other thread, and I see that it states I need software for syncing, cool, I already bought it, BUT what or how can I get programs or apps onto my phone?

Default Bottom line: Bill Gates wins

I've been able to get most things OTA. OS updates etc go through the windoze partition on my linux laptop. BB desktop is about the only thing I have to use windoze for.

The only true tool for syncing your BB on the Mac currently is PocketMac www.pocketmac.net unfortunately there is no loader as yet but as mentioned most apps are available OTA.

so BBreply, Berry 411, and verichat, those are the main ones I am looking at, avilable as OTA or no? Also, couldn't you just email yourself the app?

I bought pocketmac yesterday, not sure if anyone is aware, but they offer a student discount for a couple bucks off each of their software.

Default BBreply on Blackberry 8700r

I have an 8700r, and really want to figure out this BBreply app. I have downloaded it OTA, loaded addresses into the icon, but cannot seem to change the "sent from" address. Do I need to upgrade any software on my blackberry?

You bought PocketMac for Blackberry?
It's freeware!

EDIT :: Scratch that... I just realized that post was over a year ago.
Dammit, I hate when people resurrect dead threads.
