Red face New Method to Access AOL with Browser

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

OK...In the time I was receiving helpful feedback from the forum on accessing AOL from my Father's 8700, he went to his TMO store and they got it to work. I was able to get this little tidbit of info and thought I would pass it along.

The URL is:

doolittle.aol.com

This is a compressed portal for AOL. From the main screen you can sign-on and use other AOL services. This can be done from the browser and does not require T-Zones.

I hope this helps anyone who does not want to have AOL added their BIS, but just wants occasional access.

Thank you to all who replied to my other post!

Cheers!

I am not sure. I understood from the TMO rep that this is the way TMO set it up, but the programmers didn't put the link in the best place on T-Zones.

Cingular has an easier time I believe. If you check out AOL's website, Sprint and Cingular customers have some more options. Look under Mobile Apps.

I hope this helps.

If you just use CINGULAR BROWSER instead of Internet or Blackberry Browser, choose Check Your Email On The Go! then AOL Mail. This is all from the MediaNET home page.
