Default Contacts constantly resyncing for no reason

Before anyone says it, I did search, really I did! I just couldn't find anything similar to my problem.

Anyway, I have found that every time I plug my Blackberry 8700g in, the Intellisync software has to add a change to all of my contacts. And I have figured out why, when it compares the contacts from my Outlook to the Blackberry, it sees that the outlook contact has a space between categories, but the blackberry contact does nothave this space so it sees the two as being different. Example, I have a contact and the categories I put it in to are Business and Key Customer. In outlook this appears as Business, Key Customer, but on the Blackberry it is put in as Business,Key Customer.

This appears to be new behaviour with the newest version of the software (4.1.0.8) as I don't recall it being there with the earlier shipped version of the software.

Anyone else seen this problem? Have a solution?

Thanks.

I have the same problem. I am syncing with two computers and my pocket PC. It was driving me nuts. It would sometimes delete 159 contacts and add 156 contacts. Then I would panic and try to see which three it's trying to delete. I gave up on syncing the PPC for contacts hoping that would help. It hasn't done it lately but I'm always ready for crazy syncing.

All:

I had this problem for a while also. I made sure I was synced with outlook on my desktop and then I used the Backup/Restore capablity to delete all the contacts in my address book and did a re-sync. That cleared the problem for me.

I tried the delete/resync as well, and it worked for a while, but the problem didn't go away entirely.
