Default 7130 getting e-mail in chunks

Please Login to Remove!

Okay I'm new to the wide and wonderful world of blackberry's all I know is that I got this 7130 and what happens is that now I'm getting my e-mails in chunks, as opposed to having them as soon as they're sent to me. I called my service provider and they said that it's because I upgraded my service........

Dosen't make much sense to me, but I do know that I upgraded my service 2 weeks ago and this problem started happening about 2 days ago, so I don't think it was that, I could be wrong, please feel free to correct me.

Then they told me that when I'm out of the service area it stores my e-mails on the server (we're not using the GES software, so I don't know what sever it would be stored on) and when I get back into range they get delivered...........

Makes sense, but it only started happening 2 days ago........

Suggestions pls

I'm having a similar problem whenever the EVDO network is not available. The phone indicates that it is on the 1X network, even with very high signal strength. But the phone behaves like it is disconnected from the network. Every now and then, things seem to connect. A bunch of emails come in, and those that have been sent finally go out. The phone keeps looking for the network and drains the battery very fast. Same thing happens if I turn Automatic network seeking to 1X only.

Yeah reception seems like the most logical answer but the time frame makes no sense at all, and from my understanding it's only for incoming mail not outgoing.

I'll have to investigate this more.

Problem is that it's not my blackberry so getting a hold of it is a hassle lol.

Thanks for the input if you think of anything else let me know.
