so my friend just picked up the 8700 for verizon and pocketmac is telling him the blackberry is not connectedwhen it is plugged in. This wouldn't have anything to do with verizon loving to take features away from their customers. Any help would be fantastic. My 8700 from tmobile works perfectly with pocketmac so I am super confused

No, if you head over to the PocketMac site I think there's a note that 8100, 8703 compatibility is coming.

As a new owner of an 8703e, I find myself in the same boat. I'm glad that pocketmac is coming but realistically, when do you think that will happen?
