Default Cingular 7290 modem ?

Please Login to Remove!

I have followed the steps outline in other places on this forum and am still gettting the PPP 734 error. Here is my config.

Desktop Manager: 3.6.3.10
Handheld Manager: 4.0.0.36
BB OS: 4.0.0.219
Laptop OS: XP
RIM USB Serial Driver: 1.1.02
Modem type: Standard 56k modem (com 4)
BES Server: I am on one, but dont know the version

Could the BES server be holding me back? If so, is there a way to tell what version we are on (without being an admin). what other things have people tried to get this to work?

Thanks!

Try this thread.

I have also found that the BB modem function does not work when connected to my corporate LAN. Wireless 802.11b does not seem to affect the BB modem operation.
