Yeh they are going to send a new unit out but I have a feeling its the wrong holster? the number on the holster is ASY-06669-001 It does not fit right, this is my first 8700 but i have a 7100 and 7230 the holsters seem more fitted. I looked ar the rim site and the holder for the 8700 looks different than this one. If anyone has the part number for the holster I would appreciate it? Thanks

I have a 8700g and the holster number for it is ASY-10458-003 and I have no problems with mine hitting keys or anything. Good luck!
