Default Sync Issue

Please Login to Remove!

My company is running BES 4.0. I have a user that when she moves email to different folder it does not sync with her outlook. FYI this is all within her exchange mailbox not her personal folder. Also we had the handheld set to reconsile handheld and mailbox. We try to reconsile the email but there is no still no changes. Is there a setting that I am missing so we can do this everytime she moves her email?

On the BES:

Check:
1) User properties > PIM Synch > Message Settings > "Bidirectional Synchronization" radio button selected.

2) User properties > Redirection > Folder Redirection > "Inbox & Sent Items" radio button selected.

Hope this helps,
Pete

Do I do this in the blackberry manager console on the BES? I looked in there but it did not have those options in there.

1. bidrectional was already set
2. did not find that option.

I think I found the problem, well its not really a fix but the user actually did move her email to her personal folder but it did not delete from her inbox. From what i read this is a problem that BB has not solved yet. They would have to delete it manually. Can someone confirm with me if I am correct?

She moved it to her personal folder? From your first description it sounded like she was moving it on her BB (fileing).... if she is moving it on her PC, and she moves it either to another mailbox (including personal folders) then no... its not going to remove from the BB.

I've heard the next major release of BES will do this, but that will be a long time comin..

my apologies, originally she moved her email from her inbox to her personal folder in her outlook and like i said earlier it did not remove the email on her BB.
