Exclamation Insufficient memory. 0x0107

Please Login to Remove!

External Emails were not being processed by the BES Server for the last 24 hours until I noticed this particular message. I have seen this before on another server and a simple reboot does free up the memory allocation that the nbes.exe task is taking up most of. I have dealt with rim on this issue a few months ago and they were not able to re-produce this issue. To me, i would say this is a memory leak.

"MIME to CD error (Process: BES (000019DC:00000019), Database: CN=Server Name/OU=New York/=Company Name!!mail\username.nsf, Note: 000A1296): Insufficient memory.
12/03/2006 09:16:02 AM Cannot open message A1296 for user (Insufficient memory. 0x0107)"

Environment:

BES 4.0 SP5
Domino 7.0
Windows 2003 with Sp1

Anyone seen this before?

This is actually a Domino issue. Running 7.0 can cause this and has been noted as a fix on Domino 7.01. Upgrading it late tonight and adding the 7.01FP1 while I am at it...

Thanks for the followup, good to know. BTW you haven't changed any reg keys regarding the MaxTotalThreads on that box have you? I have heard from RIM support that upping that too far can exhaust your memory and cause crashes.

Agree with mahoward, sounds like BES calls to Notes API function for MIME to CD errors out due to insufficient memory. MaxTotalThreads should be checked.

Actually, I did not change any Reg Keys with the Threads. I upgraded to ND 7.01 (Long over due) from ND 7.0 and it works fine right now..the server is actually humming rather nicely.
