Default BlackBerry and needles

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. Noob here.

My firm uses Needles case management software for case management (duh) and calendaring, and recently gave those of us who want thm BkackBerrys. So far, it's terrific, with one major problem: Needles doesn't sync with BlackBerry. Needles has been saying that they are working on a solution, butthey've been saying that for months. Does anyone have any news on this issue? Alternatively, is there another solution for syncing a BB with the Needles calendar?

thanks in advance

Can Needles sync to a master PIM such as Outlook, that Blackberry can sync to?

No, according to my IT group. Then again, they aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, so I'll poke around a bit and see what I can find...

Also look for third party synchronization software that can synchronize to less common PIM's. A few parties sell synchronization solutions such as Intellisync and others.

A very important question to answer is: Can Needles synchronize to anything else at all? Does it have an Import/Export feature? (other than Blackberry or Outlook). Once that is determined, you may be able to find a sychronization route. Like first, sync A to B .... then sync B to C .... and perhaps sync C to D.

Look into:
- Import/Export features (old fashioned method of synchronization)
- Synchronization features
- Third-party synchronization software
- Consider multistage synchronization if this is really just a one-time sync (sync A to B, then sync B to C, then sync C to D)

Even the mere ability to export addressbook text files (.CSV) is sufficient enough to get the data into a BlackBerry.
