I just got my 8700 yesterday. This is my first Blackberry and I'm loving it. Can anyone tell me how to send a picture to another cell phone via text message?

You can't do that, i.e., attach a picture to an email or text message from your 8700.

What carrier are you using your 8700 with? I have Verizon and by using the VZW Pix place website, which you can access via the BB browser you can send photos that way. I do it every now and then.

I use Cingular. Do you think there is something like that available for me?
