Default "Data connection refused"

Please Login to Remove!

I got this when I put my wife's T-Mobile SIM in my old BB, which is network unlocked. The phone works fine.

(1) Am I getting "data connection refused" because I have yet to call Vodafone to release the PIN?

(2) It was setup for work (BES) and I want my wife to use it for internet email - is that going to be a problem?

thanks

Does the TMobile sim have a "Blackberry" Data Plan?

When you were on the BES did you have any restrictions? If so, those restrictions are still there unless you remove the IT Policy.

I removed the IT policy, and that worked fine.

Thanks for the tip re Blackberry data plan - I will call Vodafone to release the PIN and then TMobile to get the plan.

I was wondering what "data connection refused" meant - I guess it's because I don't have the BB plan...

If the phone was only on a BES then you won't need to have the PIN released. If you used it on BES and BIS (personal email) then the PIN could still be connected to your account.
