Default 'Y' splitter for Pearl and HS 655?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I have a Pearl and a BB HS 655. Looking for a splitter cable so I only have to have one charger plugged in the wall rather than 2.

On my Moto Razr and Moto HS500, I got a splitter. I notice the sizes are the same. Can I use my Moto splitter for the Pearl and HS655? Don't want to send the Pearl a wrong charging frequency and short circuit it

The issue of using other chargers on the pearl was thoroughly answered here.

Yeah but I'm not really asking about using a moto charger.

I have a splitter that looks like a Y the end with with two connection would go into the pearl and the hs 655...then the end with one connection goes into the blackberry charger.

the question is, does 1 of those things exist for blackberry?
and second question, i have a Y splitter that i used on moto phones, but can i use that Y splitter and plug in to the pear/hs655 and plug the other end into a blackberry charger

Regardless, you can use other chargers that aren't meant for the blackberry. It's just that the BB charger uses a higher output. Making the charge slower. As long as the charge you put into the phone is not higher than that of the BB charger, you won't have problems as far as short circuiting the device.
