Hi all,

I installed the new Rogers software for my 8800, and all of the themes are unlocked and available, however the AT&T Theme doesn't display 3 rows of icons. At the top there the first row should be, is just more of the desktop picture. If I knew how to take a screen shot for you, I would. . . Any suggestions other than reloading the OS again? I had to snag my gf's laptop as I have a mac. All of the other themes work just fine. Strange. . . .

Have you tried a battery pull?
Are there simply no icons there ie are the first icons in the second row, or are they just not showing up when you're highlighting them?
Have you tried removing the theme and reinstalling?

I have pulled the battery. and there is nothing in the first row at all, it remains blank. Think of the first row being in the second, and then everything else is one row lower.

So you're saying that the new AT&T theme only has 2 rows of icons instead of 3? that seems kinda strange.


Edit: I see screenshot utilities, but none that will work on the mac. I'll take a pic with my cam and post it.

3rd time's the charm: Have you tried deleting and reloading the theme?

It's the way the theme is in that OS version. Load the AT&T theme from the previous OS.

AT&T just posed updated software on their download site, I loaded it and now the AT&T theme has three rows of icons like it should

actually, i've taken a liking to collecting themes lately...aside from the cool stuff i got from Eveek, i saw a colleagues' 8100 that he has on AT&T and the theme looked pretty cool.

anyone have that theme for OTA download ? don't want to switch my OS, so if no one has it, then I can live without it....

even better would be a theme like Tmo Zen that allows the icons to move accross the bottom of the screen when you move the trackball....anyone ?

The issue with the AT&T theme is specific to the Rogers OS. The options, as stated above, are to reload an older version of that theme, or wait until a newer build of the OS is released. They fix it (back to three rows) on newer versions of the OS.

I dowloaded the OS from Rogers and i have no problems with the ATT theme.You could do these steps:

from the main screen,hit the BB button and select "show all"
