Back in (I believe) '04, I registered with the forums and only posted about selling an old blackberry. I have checked in every now and again to see how things were progressing in the world of greatness.

Last week, I bought a 7100i. I need the walkie-talkie because I am a service tech and repair tons of Nextel for business customers.

Always known this was the best site for anything related to BBerries, I had to come back and see you guys.

Alright, I am lost right now. The 7100i is a pretty nice phone, but I am sick of being on the Nextel side of things right now. I'm not really using it a whole lot to test customer's phones near as much as I used to.

So, my question to everybody is which route should I take. As of right now, I am holding out in hopes of a Curve coming soon, but I am weak-willed. The Pearl has the features that I want, the 8830 has the big screen and full keyboard which I really want.

Can't decide. The full screen and full keyboard are really big features that I want, but I also want something that I can play my music and watch Sprint TV on.

Has to be on Sprint.

Thanks all for the welcome.

if the pearl has the features that you want why not go with the pearl? keep in mind the actual key size on the 8830 is smaller than that of the pearl

I am sitting here at work, trying to figure this out. You are right about the keys. The ones on the 8830 feel a lot different, not only in size. Almost spongy.

My thing is the screen size. I think I want a bigger screen for photo/multimedia viewing.

Sith, you have the 8830 ruled out in my book. Now to figure out whether it is worth the wait for a Curve or settle with the slightly smaller screen on a pearl.

Any Curve owners out there care to comment on the pros and cons? I am not looking for spec data, but personal opinion as that means more to me.
